Classic beauty John

Jerry Bokowski

A week ago today we were in Zion with our guest from Europe, John. She had been wanting to see and experience Zion for Decades. Now she has been to Sedona, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, and the Catalina Mountains in Tucson! Zion is and always will be our favorite place to be. We saw cliff climbers, kayakers, horseback riders, that all made the trip complete! I just had to come back to this great panoramic capture today!

John McGraw replied:

well they sure did get to see some of the most beautiful places the U.S. has to offer. Glad you had such a wonderful trip, and glad you came back to my photos and it could help spark a great memory like that. One reason I try to capture so much is to bring back memories for people or inspire them to get somewhere. Thanks for letting me know how your trip went!

Your description mirrors my thoughts exactly regarding Zion, John. The Virgin River and distant Watchman along with weather and time of day here are wonderful. I have invited a FAA member from Europe to experience this in person next spring of 2016. It would create unforgettable memories that she could treasure for a lifetime!................FAV / Like

John McGraw replied:

Thank you Jerry! It was an amazing sunset that I almost missed but glad I was able to see and capture it. Sounds like you will have a great time next spring together, I don;t know how you couldn't there. I can't to get back some day.

About John McGraw

John McGraw

I have been a professional in the visual arts for more than two decades. I started shooting photos when I was a young kid. Both my parents were into photography and my Dad always had a camera. I would get rolls of film and shoot whatever looked interesting to me at the time. I began shooting on film and will always be grateful for that, spending countless hours in the darkroom developing my own film and then adjusting as technology did to digital photography. I worked for the Detroit Tigers for a summer in my early 20’s, working for the scoreboard. I then worked on several independent movies; I was an editor, assistant director, script supervisor, grip, gaffer… During this time I dabbled in photography, I always had a passion...
